After proposing to her in 2018, and their eventual engagement, Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre are finally married. The couple were married in Marrakech in Morocco, in a wedding ceremony that lasted for three good days.
Friends and family of Idris and Sabrina Dhowre attended a “colours of the Souk” themed dinner the night before the wedding at the Amanjena. On April 27, they will attend an all-white party at the Mandarin Oriental, which will emulate the atmosphere of a festival, according to Vogue magazine.
Sabrina, 29, opted for two exquisite dresses by Vera Wang for her big day – a bardot style gown for the ceremony and a pearl embroidered number for the reception – while Idris, 46, looked dapper in a bespoke suit by Ozwald Boateng.
Before the ceremony, Elba and Dhowre hosted an extravagant rehearsal dinner at Amanjena on Thursday, according to Vogue.
