Snoop Dogg honoured with Hollywood Walk of Fame

American rapper and celebrity TV host, Snoop Dogg has finally been honoured with a star at the Hollywood Walk of fame on Monday, as the legendary rapper joins the historic list of those that have been honoured with a star.

The former record label mate of the late Tupac, was on Monday, joined by his family and friends at the unveiling of his star, where he thanked his family, friends and all those that have one way or the other contributed in his life, music and what he has been able to achieve all these years, especially, himself.

He thanked his parents, his wife Shante Broadus, DJ Warren G, Dr. Dre, Jimmy Kimmel and Quincy Jones, Snoop, 47, and himself for getting him to where he is today. He said:

“Last but not least, I want to thank me for believing in me,” he began. “I want to thank me for doing all this hard work, I want to thank me for having no days off, I want to thank me for never quitting, I want to thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive.”

“I want to thank me for trying to do more rights than wrong, I want to thank me for just being me at all times,” he continued. “Snoop Dogg, you a bad motherf—.”

In addition to his wife and parents, Snoop’s daughter Cori Broadus, 19, and son Julian Corrie Broadus, 20, were in attendance. (Snoop is also father to Corde Broadus, 24, and Cordell Broadus, 21, both of whom were not present.)
