President Muhammadu Buhari a few hours ago, has sent in his warm birthday message to former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as he clocks 61 today, and others who have joined in wishing Jonathan a happy birthday, are both Atiku, Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal and Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki.
President Buhari in his message said he is joining millions of other Nigerians in celebrating Dr. Goodluck Jonathan on his birthday, and wished him and family well. He said:
“Happy Birthday to former President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. I join millions of Nigerians in sending warm greetings to him as he turns 61 today. I pray that the Almighty God will grant him long life and good health, and continue to bless him and his family.”
President Muhammadu Buhari was one of those invited to the book launch of former President Jonathan, titled “My Transition Hours” and the event will be holding at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja today.
The Presidential candidate of the PDP and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar wishing Jonathan a Happy Birthday, said:
“Happy 61st birthday Dr. Goodluck Jonathan (@GEJonathan), our former president and ever distinctive face of democracy in Africa. I also, heartily congratulate you on the launch of #MyTransitionHours today. Wishing you continued good health, long life and many happy returns.-AA”
The Governor of Sokoto State Aminu Tambuwal on his part, took to his social media handle to share a message to Jonathan. He said:
