Ben Affleck looked in great spirits as he attended his child Fin’s school play with best friend Matt Damon on Sunday, Daily Mail reports.
According to the report by Daily Mail, the actor, Ben Affleck 52, who reunited with exes Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner at a play performance Friday, spent time with his childhood pal Matt, 54, his wife Luciana and their daughters Gia and Stella.
Ben Affleck flashed a smile while clad in a tan jacket and black trousers as he spoke with the two teenagers.
Damon wrapped up in a cream jacket paired with a baseball cap as the group prepared to head off.
After the kids took their final bow on stage Friday, Affleck could be seen waiting to congratulate both Fin, who he shares with Garner, and his stepchild, Emme, 16, who uses the gender-neutral pronouns, they/them.
Following the show, Affleck was seen giving Emme, who Lopez shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, a sweet embrace and a kiss on the head before saying goodbye.
During the exchange, an eyewitness revealed to DailyMail.com that Lopez ‘looked on adoringly.’
The 55-year-old superstar looked every inch the supportive mom as she waited to give Emme a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Lopez and Affleck were also seen having a conversation with each other as they mingled with the other attendees.
Meanwhile, Affleck and Garner, who were married for 13 years between 2005 to 2018, have remained amicable co-parents since their split.
This includes, most recently, spending Thanksgiving together as they volunteered and served meals to the homeless their three kids.
In addition to Fin, the former couple share daughter Violet, 19, and Samuel, 12.
Their latest sighting comes after a source told Page Six that Affleck was overjoyed to spend the holiday with his family as he feels as if he can ‘just be himself’ around Garner and their kids.
The insider added: ‘Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her.
‘Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids.’
The source said that while ‘some men would find it annoying,’ Affleck likes that his ex takes care of him.
‘He loves being looked after by her,’ the source continued. ‘He goes to her whenever he has a big career or life decision to make for her advice.’
At this moment, a source told Page Six that Affleck ‘Ben has no interest in jumping into another relationship.’
‘Ben’s divorce from Jennifer hasn’t even been finalized, but even if it were, dating is just not where his head is at,’ the insider revealed.
Before officially calling it quits with Lopez, Garner is said to have ‘encouraged’ Ben to work on his marriage with the On The Floor hitmaker.
‘When things started getting rocky between Ben and Jennifer (Lopez), Jen was very supportive of their relationship and encouraged Ben to work on their marriage,’ the source claimed.
The insider added that Jennifer has ‘no problem’ with J.Lo, adding: ‘At the end of the day, she just wants Ben to be happy.’
