Lana Del Rey is officially a married woman as she tied the knot with gator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene on Thursday, just one month after their romance was revealed, Daily Mail reports.
The unlikely couple exchanged vows by the water in Des Allemandes, Louisiana the same bayou where Dufrene operates his popular swamp boat tours, the report by Daily Mail added.
In new photos and videos obtained by DailyMail, the Born To Die hitmaker, Lana Del Rey 39, is seen being walked down the aisle by her father Robert Grant with a floral bouquet in hand.
Lana Del Rey who is worth a reported $30million looked radiant in a flowing white wedding gown and her hair styled in a curly ponytail that draped over one shoulder.
The classic floor-length frock had an elegant ruffled neckline, a billowing skirt and a modest train that dragged on the gravel aisle.
Instead of his go-to trucker hat, Dufrene rocked a chic black suit, white dress shirt and brown leather shoes for their backyard nuptials.
After saying ‘I Do,’ Dufrene — a Louisiana native and divorced father-of-three — grabbed onto Lana’s hand as they made their way to the outdoor reception.
The newlyweds walked past one of Dufrene’s famous swamp air boats, which was tied to the dock and decorated with white flowers for the couple’s wedding.
The wedding and the reception were held along the public harbor, with
countless tables set up under massive white tents on the grass.
Lana’s sister Caroline Grant and brother Charlie Hill-Grant supported her on her special day. It remains unclear whether or not her mother Patricia Ann Hill was in attendance Thursday.
For the reception, Lana Del Rey added a light blue satin bow to her ponytail for ‘something blue.’
This marks Lana’s first marriage and Dufrene’s second.
The wedding comes just hours after TMZ reported that Lana Del Rey and her new husband had picked up a marriage license on Monday, September 23.
The license is yet to be returned and recorded.
The singer first met the father-of-two in 2019, before being spotted holding hands with him on August 25 in England.
She then attended Karen Elson’s wedding with Dufrene earlier this month – with the smitten couple holding hands at the star-studded bash – which saw Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in attendance.
This came just days after she broke her silence on her rumored romance, with a comment underneath an Instagram post from @thejustnlife, speculating about their relationship.
She was previously seen holding hands with Dufrene ahead of her performance at Leeds Festival last month, and fans went on to speculate that she dropped a huge hint about her rumored lover in one of her songs.
‘She wanted to go on a boat tour because it’s a big thing in Louisiana, but she never expected to fall for a gator boat captain,’ a source told DailyMail.com earlier this month.
The couple first met when Lana Del Rey performed at the Buku Music + Art Project in Louisiana in March 2019. She took one of his boat tours while in town.
‘When Lana Del Rey revisited the area in May to perform at Hangout Fest, they were both single and they reconnected,’ DailyMail’s exclusive insider revealed.
‘He saw his golden opportunity and asked her out and they have been together since. She loves older men.’
Her relationship with Jeremy initially worried friends who were convinced they would dig up something suspect about the divorced father of three.
But they soon realized he treats her well and gives her what she ‘needs’ from a partner.
‘Her friends and team did some digging on him over fears he could be using her, but his business is lucrative and he doesn’t need or want Lana’s money,’ the source said.
‘They can see he treats her right and he’s very, very low maintenance. He gives her what she is seeking in a man and is romantic.’
Lana Del Rey went public with Jeremy on August 25, when the pair were spotted holding hands and having a romantic meal together in London after she performed at Leeds Festival.
The source added: ‘She brought him to her most recent string of shows in the UK which was a big step. He is a good guy and she is wildly attracted to him. He is a good father and no one who knows him has anything bad to say about him.’
During Lana’s initial alligator boat tour in 2019, she shared photos with her fans on Instagram and Facebook.
In the caption, the Born to Die singer wrote: ‘Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.’
One of the snaps showed her sitting beside Jeremy with her tongue out as he helped her steer the air boat.
He also appeared in the background of a photo of Lana posing up with her girlfriends during the tour.
She heavily promoted Jeremy’s place of work in the post by sharing a photo of the handmade Arthur’s Air Boat Tours sign and the company phone number.
Jeremy also posted a photo with Lana to his own Instagram, writing: ‘I never know who I can run across on my tours but always a pleasure @lanadelrey.’
He looked absolutely smitten beside the brunette beauty in the photo as they posed with their arms wrapped around one another by the swampy water.
But the pair didn’t date immediately, with Lana going on to date Live PD hunk Sean Larkin, 52, following their first meeting.
She then started dating Clayton Johnson, who she got engaged to but later called off.
She then had rumored flings with Salem rocker Jack Donoghue and, most recently, musician Evan Winiker.
She has had her sights set on the swamp expert since their May reunion, as she enlisted the help of her friends to join her on one of his famous airboat excursions.
She documented the swamp adventure on her Instagram and even tagged her rumored boyfriend in a post published on May 16.
‘Family w my guy @jeremy.dufrene,’ Lana wrote in the caption.
Jeremy has been employed as a captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours since at least 2015.
The tour guide’s Instagram page — which is now private — is filled with videos of his interactions with the wild alligators that rule Bayou des Allemandes, which is often referred to as the ‘Catfish Capital of the Universe.’
He seems absolutely fearless while filming Reels of himself feeding alligators pieces of raw chicken by hand.
He refers to the alligators as his ‘Cajun yard dogs’ and has names for each of them.
Dufrene’s swap tour has been taken by a host of celebrities over the years, including Kate Hudson, Emma Roberts and Hollywood’s hottest leading man Glen Powell.
In a July 2019 Instagram post, Jeremy gushed that it was his ‘pleasure’ to take Kate and her family out on the water as they posed for a photo on the dock.
‘thanks for coming and trusting me with your family,’ wrote Jeremy, who earned a ‘like’ from the Almost Famous star.
His friendship with Powell dates back to 2015 when the Twisters star first took his air boat tour.
Glenn gave Dufrene a major shout-out on his Instagram at the time as he shared a fun snap of the duo drinking a beer and soaking up the sun.
‘J-Bone and G-Trash. We’re both single and ready to mingle. Find us on the swamp or at the Daiquiris To-Go place next door or on Craigslist Personals. Sorry for partying. (Not sorry),’ joked the Anyone But You star.
More recently, Jeremy encouraged his followers to ‘check out’ his pal Glen’s appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Show in May of this year.
Dufrene’s down-to-earth lifestyle in Louisiana is a nice change for Lana, who has dated a slew of famous faces since she achieved mainstream success in 2011.
Her first public romance was with Scottish singer-songwriter Barrie-James O’Neill, 36, who she attended the MTV Europe Music Awards with in November 2012.
Engagement rumors swirled about the pair in 2013, after Lana was spotted with a huge diamond on her ring finger. But by 2014, the couple announced their breakup.
She then enjoyed a whirlwind romance with former editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, Francesco Carrozzini, 41, in 2014.
They spent the summer together in Portofino, Italy before the Italian photographer moved from New York to Los Angeles for seven months to be with Lana.
However, their love didn’t stand the test of time, and insiders shared the pair broke up sometime in November 2015.
