The Saturdays Send Fans Into A Frenzy Over Reunion

The Saturdays have sent fans into a frenzy hoping for a reunion as members of the group got together for the first time in years.

Frankie Bridge joined ex-bandmate Vanessa White for a night out with their mutual friend Leah Meredith with the pair looking thrilled to be together again.

Meanwhile, Una Healy also enjoyed a reunion with Vanessa last week with the pair admitting it had been seven years since they last met up.

Sharing a snap of the pair, Una wrote: ‘So good to be reunited with @vanessa white today! Loved our catch up so much.’

Vanessa wrote on the post: ‘Can’t believe it’s been nearly 7 years since we’ve seen each other! Love you.’

Fellow The Saturdays bandmate Rochelle Humes commented on the post with a series of heart emojis.

Fans quickly took to the comments as they demanded the group, which was also made up of Mollie King, reunite for a tour.

They wrote: ‘My beutiful girls! Miss my Sat girls a lot! Ps: PLEASE do a The Saturdays reunion!’
‘We have new Girls Aloud now, give us The Saturday Reunion music we need comeback album please I’m begging you.’

‘The reunion tour planning has started’… ‘I hope you were starting the plan for a Saturdays reunion tour!’

The Saturdays were formed by Polydor Records in June 2007. They released four albums and  a greatest hits album before parting ways in 2014.
It comes after Frankie candidly detailed her struggles with mental health as she reflected on her time in The Saturdays.

The singer soared to fame in the girlband in the Noughties – having previously had a brush with the limelight in S Club Juniors.

Yet behind the scenes, the 35-year-old singer was battling depression and admitted she couldn’t perform for certain shows.

Speaking on Loose Women, she revealed: ‘When I was mentally unwell there were shows I couldn’t do.

‘You had this massive pressure drummed into you from a young age that the show must go on.’
Frankie continued: ‘It’s a really horrible feeling it doesn’t sit right, I’ve seen it on the show here that some women are too ill to go on but they do.’

Frankie previously detailed ‘reaching rock bottom’ and being hospitalised amid her ongoing battle with depression.

The singer gave an honest account during lockdown in an Instagram question and answer session and said how she sometimes felt she was ‘living life differently to everyone else.’

When a fan asked about when she knew she needed help, Frankie replied: ‘I was unable to cope with everyday life.

‘I was constantly crying and I felt like I was exhausted and unable to carry on as I was. Something had to change. I’d reached rock bottom.’

Frankie also opened up about how her ex-footballer husband Wayne copes with her down days and offered advice for spouses of people suffering from mental health problems.

She told her followers: ‘I think the biggest thing is to not take it personally and to remind yourself it’s an illness.’

‘Also try not to feel like you have to fix something for him. Just be there and listen.’

‘I’m sure Wayne gets fed up sometimes. It’s hard to be around.’
