Reese Witherspoon is spending quality time with her eldest son Deacon Phillippe, 20, this summer in Los Angeles before he returns to New York for college, Daily Mail reports.
According to the report by Daily Mail, on Friday, the Legally Blonde star, 48, took to Instagram to share two portraits of herself and her son hanging out by the ocean.
‘Summer nights with this guy are the best @deaconphillippe,’ Reese Witherspoon gushed in the caption.
Deacon is currently studying music at New York University and lives in a two-level apartment with pals in Greenwich Village.
And Reese Witherspoon looked every bit the proud mom as she smiled beside the young man in Friday’s photos.
Deacon could be seen leaning in close to his mother while dressed in a dark T-shirt and a baseball cap.
As for Reese, she looked incredible in a V-neck sweater and with her long blonde hair tucked behind her ears.
The previous night, Reese Witherspoon took Deacon as her date to the premiere of her Big Little Lies co-star Zoë Kravitz’s new psychological thriller film Blink Twice in LA.
Reese looked at her son in adoration as they walked the red carpet together.
Looking chic in a a black pantsuit featuring short billowy sleeves and an avant-garde collarless neckline, the actress completed the look with a pair of matching black open-toe heels, wearing her hair back to reveal a pair of sparkling hoop earrings.
A spitting image of his father, Ryan Phillippe, his son enjoyed his movie night with his mother in a navy blue velour collared shirt with white pants, matching sneakers and a glasses hanging from his neck.
In addition to oldest boy, Witherspoon also shares her look-alike daughter Ava Phillippe, 24, with her ex-husband, for whom she was married to from 1999 to 2008.
The Hello Sunshine mogul also s Tennesse Toth,, 11, with her second ex-husband Jim Toth, with whom she finalized her their divorce last year after marrying back in 2011.
Witherspoon also got to spend some time at Thursday’s premiere with her other Big Little Lies co-star Laura Dern.
While Blink Twice marks Kravitz’s firs time helming a feature film, it stars her boyfriend Channing Tatum in the lead as a tech billionaire who brings women back to his sketchy island.
After running for two seasons from 2017 to 2019, the HBO is set to bring Big Littler Lies back soon for a much-anticipated third season.
Fellow show co-star and co-producer Nicole Kidman previously said they are ‘moving fast and furious’ on the upcoming installment.
Author Liane Moriarty, who wrote the original 2014 novel on which the series is based, is hard at work on a new book to serve as source material for the TV drama.
Along with Kravitz, Dern, and Kidman, the cast also features Shailene Woodley, as well as Alexander Skarsgård, Adam Scott, James Tupper, Jeffrey Nordling, Kathryn Newton, Iain Armitage, and Meryl Streep.
