Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine Baumgartner is said to be ‘very happy with’ new boyfriend Josh Connor following her divorce from the actor, Daily Mail reports.
According to PEOPLE , a source revealed that Connor, 49, gives Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine, 50, ‘a lot of attention.’
The insider said ‘Josh is great for’ the mother-of-three, who shares Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 13, with Costner, 69.
It was noted that the new couple who were recently seen enjoying dinner together has been ‘spending time together as a blended family.’ The financier is reportedly ‘around a lot and gives her attention.’
Exes Costner and Baumgartner finalized their divorce in February after reaching a settlement agreement last September.
The person close to Christine also told People, ‘She’s happy to spend a lot of time with Josh. He’s more of an ideal partner for her.’
It comes one year after she filed for divorce from the former Yellowstone star.
Connor is a divorced father-of-three, who Baumgartner has been dating since at least January, although Costner claimed in a court hearing last September that the relationship began before he and his ex split.
Friends recently told DailyMail that Josh and Christine’s romance has become increasingly serious since they were first pictured together at the beginning of the year.
One source said: ‘Josh knows he can give her what Kevin didn’t, even though he is a high-powered executive with his own demanding career.’
‘He also knows how important her children are to her — as his are to him. Trying to blend two families isn’t easy but she’s worth it,’ it was added.
Christine took her three children to dinner with Connor in Montecito over Memorial Day weekend.
DailyMail photos showed the two arriving separately at the swank Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club with their daughters Grace and Abigail, both 13, for an early dinner.
Later the group was joined by Christine’s sons Cayden and Hayes, but Connor’s eldest children Lily, 20, and John, 18, did not attend.

Costner enjoyed the company of his children at the 77th Annual Cannes Film Festival in May, with his oldest kids Annie, 40, and Lily, 37 — who he shares with ex-wife Cindy Costner — joining.
The iconic Hollywood leading man was there to present his self-financed film Horizon.
An insider told DailyMail: ‘Christine herself said Josh is the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with.
‘It’s not like Christine is at home wishing she was in the glitz and glamour of Cannes; she would much rather be walking on the beach barefoot with Josh.
‘But she said she is happy for Kevin. Horizon has been his everything for so long, and she’s glad all the kids could be there to support him.’
Meanwhile Kevin has reportedly moved on with singer Jewel, 49, who recently gushed that he is a ‘great person’ – but admitted that she’s found the public’s ‘fascination’ with their relationship ‘intense.’
It was first revealed that the musician and the Yellowstone actor were dating back in November – six months after he split from Christine.
While, the pair has stayed mum about their romance so far, the artist has now spoken out about it for the first time while chatting with Elle magazine.
‘He’s a great person,’ she told the publication as she blushed. ‘[But] the public fascination is intense for sure.’
The couple were first linked over Thanksgiving last year, when they were spotted getting cozy on a private island in the Caribbean together.
‘There was definitely something going on. They were flirty, and when they were together, it was like they both just lit up,’ an onlooker told TMZ at the time.
Photos from the vacation showed Jewel sitting on the star’s lap as he wrapped his arms around her waist.
Jewel’s son Kase, 12, whom she had with ex-husband Ty Murray, seemed to be on the trip as well as he was seen on the beach with the star in her Instagram photos.
A source told DailyMail.com afterwards that the pair had their mutual friend Richard Branson to thank for their blossoming romance, after the billionaire invited them both to his private island.
A separate source also said that Kevin Costner’s ex-wife Christine was not surprised that he had moved on so quickly – but was glad it was with Jewel and not some ‘fame-seeking bimbo.’
