The upcoming show comes shortly after Lana Del Rey is headlining sets at Coachella 2024, which featured guest appearances from Billie Eilish and Camila Cabello
On Monday, May 6, the “Born to Die” singer Lana Del Rey announced her first-ever headlining stadium performance at Fenway Park in Boston set for Thursday, June 20 and billed as “one very special night.”
Tickets for the show first become available through an artist presale at 10 a.m. local time on Wednesday, May 8, before the general on-sale kicks off on at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, May 10.
The announcement comes shortly after Lana Del Rey, 38, headlined both weekends of Coachella last month, during which both Billie Eilish and Camila Cabello joined her as surprise special guests.
Del Rey’s Fenway Park show also follows her series of shows in North America and two nights at Foro Sol in Mexico City, all of which have been held in support of her latest album, 2023’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd?
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last year, Del Rey opened up about her choice to avoid performing live on television after she faced backlash for not sounding her best on Saturday Night Live in 2012.

Since then, the “A&W” musician told the outlet she’s received offers to return to TV but only accepted one — singing “Let Me Love You Like a Woman” from her Chemtrails Over the Country Club album on The Tonight Show in 2020 with no audience.
“Maybe [performing on TV is] something else I’ll grow into more, like touring. And don’t get me wrong. I toured for nine years of my life. It was nonstop. It was tough. But you know in your heart when it’s the right time. And it’s never been the right time,” Del Rey told the outlet.
“Maybe now, even if I didn’t feel confident, I would do it anyway,” she added, before seeming to hint that the SNL debacle harmed her courage: “But there was a reason not to feel confident.”
Today, Lana Del Rey has formed a more positive relationship with touring, and she opened up to THR about preparing for her recent shows.
“I get nervous. [But] this is a totally different tour,” she said. “The stage production is bigger. There are more people on that stage with me, so I’m more comfortable. But even if it was just a one-off show and it was just me in the spotlight, I’d be much more equipped now.”
Del Rey continued, “I have experience. I’ve toured just off of YouTube [music] since before I had an album. But right now, I’m excited. I don’t feel nervous to tour.”
