A fatal accident have occurred along the ever-busy and popular Ikeja along area of Lagos state, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) said in a statement.
According to the statement released by LASTMA, on their official social media handle on Tuesday 9th May 2023, the accident which happened around 4:30pm on Tuesday at the Ikeja Along inward National area, claimed lives with other casualties being taken to the hospital.
The statement also stated that men of LASEMA are also expected to evacuate the Vehicles involved soon, while officials are still investigating the fatal accident.
As at the time of this report, no figure have been given as to the number of lives lost, and those injured. There is also no talk of criminal charges as a result, as evacuation process is still ongoing.
