President Emmanuel Macron who was present when Les Blues defeated Morocco in the semi-finals of the ongoing FIFA world cup in Qatar, has congratulated the team for their victory.
President Emmanuel Macron also confirmed that he will be present on Sunday when Les Blues take on Argentina in the final of the FIFA world cup in Qatar, AFP reports.
“There are never two without three”. Emmanuel Macron said while hailing the victory of the Blues against Morocco and their qualification for the final of the World Cup in Qatar.
“They made me very proud,” said the President of the Republic, confirming in passing his presence in Lusail for the Argentina-France clash. “They have mastered the game.”
The Moroccans “made a very great semi-final”
Emmanuel Macron also had a thought for the Atlas Lions who will face Croatia on Saturday afternoon.
“They made an extraordinary journey during this World Cup, they made a very great semi-final and it took the mastery of this French team […] which knew how to hold the match”, Macron continued.
“From tonight we prepare for the final and we win it,” concluded Emmanuel Macron.
