The Lagos State Police Command Tuesday, confirmed that they have arrested one 35-year-old man for allegedly stabbing one person to death.

The Lagos State Police Command had stated this in a statement released on Tuesday 9th August 2022, by SP Benjamin Hundeyin who is the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Ikeja-Lagos.

According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, parading the suspected killer, he stated that the suspect identified as one Kamalideen Raji, was arrested by officers of Area K, Morogbo of the Police Command over the alleged murder of one person in the Badagry area of the state.

“The suspect, who was arrested at about 1130hrs on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 stabbed his victim, a manager of a lottery centre, twice in the neck over a disagreement about unpaid debts,” the statement said.

The victim, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, added was rushed to Badagry General Hospital for medical attention but later gave up the ghost.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti for further investigations and prosecution.
