Akintola Damife: Teacher Injures A 2-Year-Old Pupil In Oyo

A 2-year-old pupil of Day Spring Royal Academy, Ibadan, Oyo State, identified as Akintola Damife, is currently in pain after she was allegedly brutalised by her teacher.

According to reports on Tuesday, a relative of the victim who narrated the incident involving the student Akintola Damife, was quoted to have said that “Mrs Odugbesan is the name of the teacher. We saw the deep cut on Damife’s face and accosted her teacher,” she said.

She continued by adding:

She claims a soft drink bottle fell and broke into my cousin’s eye which I suspect is a fallacy because we interrogated the victim and even though she couldn’t speak well, she said the injury wasn’t as a result of the bottle,” the said relative had alleged.

The suspect in the case which we still cannot verify, is said to have been handed over to the police as the family hope they get positive results at the end of the day.

Akintola Damife Case Is Coming A Few Days After That Of Oromoni’s Death:

In the case of Oromoni, which is a case the investigation is still ongoing, saw the late Master Oromoni’s ‘cousin’- Perrison Oromoni, taking to social media to call out the names of some students of Dowen College, his school accusing them of being responsible for the harassment and the eventual death of the junior secondary school student.

Mr Oromoni took to his Twitter handle @Perrisonoromoni to narrate how his late cousin was allegedly battered on Friday, November 26 at the school before he eventually died on Tuesday, November 3.

He said a series of tests and X-rays conducted on him showed that he sustained internal injuries from beatings he received from the students.

The accuser listed some students (names withheld) whom he accused of ‘mistreating’ the late student’ over his refusal to join an unnamed cult group.

Explaining further on social media, Mr Oromoni said the Dowen School management then called Sylvester’s father, Sylvester Oromoni, telling them that his son sustained injuries while playing football at the school.
