Vanessa Bryant Blasts Meek Mill Over New Song

Vanessa Bryant blasts Meek Mill over his new song, that reference the tragic helicopter accident that killed her husband, Kobe Bryant and daughter alongside six others.

Vanessa Bryant blasts Meek saying the rapper’s new song is “extremely insensitive and disrespectful” not just to her and family, but to Kobe and others who died in the accident.

Before now, fans of the late NBA legend had taken to social media to drag Meek Mill after a snippet from the track entitled, “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe),” which features Lil Baby leaked.

The song reportedly features the lyrics, “If I ever lack I’m goin’ out with my choppa, it be another Kobe.”

Vanessa posted a screenshot of the lyrics from Meek’s track. She wrote, “Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”

Fans have been showing Vanessa support amid the Meek controversy. Her followers wrote words of encouragement to Kobe’s widow on social media.

Bryant passed away after a helicopter carrying his daughter Gianna, himself, and several others crashed due to fog and poor visibility.
