Ope Dolapo Badmos Celebrates 18th Anniversary As A Police Officer

A Popular Nigerian Police officer, Ope Dolapo Badmos, is praising God for how far she has come as a law enforcement officer and good health, as she marks her 18th anniversary as an officer in the Nigerian Police Force.

Ope Dolapo Badmos who is the most popular police officer in Nigeria as at today, and that woman who has never been shy to air her views to issues that affect lives of women, children and the homeless in society, taking to her official social media handle on Saturday 15th August 2020, to celebrate her 18th anniversary, said:

“It’s been 18 years of rigorous service to the people of Nigeria 🇳🇬.
On the 15th day of August 2002, I swore and signed an oath to protect Nigeria and its people, to uphold its sovereignty and ensure peace and justice reigns within its territory especially within my Area Of Responsibility,” she started the tribute to herself.

Ope Dolapo Badmos continued with her anniversary message by adding:

“This I’ve strived to do in the last six thousand, five hundred and seventy days!!!! It’s not yet Uhuru but I promise to do much more within my power in years to come!!! So Help Me God! Congratulations to me….and cheers to years to come!!!!GOD BLESS NIGERIA 🔫🇳🇬👮,” she added.

The Ekiti born Super Cop who has served in various capacities in the force and as Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Isokoko, Agege, she was later appointed as Lagos State PPRO for a couple of months before being elevated to Zone 2 command PPRO covering Ogun and Lagos States.

She is a graduate of Accounting and also a degree holder in Public Administration. She was inducted into the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations as an Associate Member in November 2016.

Ope Dolapo Badmos in an interview some years back, had said that her uncle, whose name she did not give then, influenced her decision to join the Nigerian Police Force. But she had always wanted to be a medical doctor, right from her days in primary school.
