The recently crowned WBC heavyweight world boxing champion, Tyson Fury who is best known as the ‘Gypsy King’ on Saturday, shared some photos to show his incredible transformation over two years to claim a world boxing championship belt.

The British boxer who has had his own share of ups and downs, shared the incredible photos to inspire others who might be having it tough or rough with their weight and doubting their abilities. He captioned the photo with:

“Been an amazing comeback over the last 2 years. Thank you πŸ™πŸ» for the support”.

Tyson Fury who suffered depression, and gained serious amount of weight and was later stripped of his belts which he won after beating Wladimir Klitschko to become new world heavyweight champion, in an interview with Rolling Stone, admitted to have suffered from bouts of depression as well as “snorting cocaine, drinking daily and getting ‘fat as a pig.'”

He also told the magazine that “if I could take my own life and I wasn’t a Christian — I would take it in a second. I just hope someone kills me before I kill myself. I’ll have to spend eternity in hell,” he had said then before his remarkable return to boxing.

He also had on Saturday last week, inflicted the first professional defeat on American Deontay Wilder, to clinch the WBC world boxing title, which among other things, tops his list of achievement after a terrible two years.

Taking to his social media immediately after his historic bout, he said:

“With the right mind set anything is possible, I’ve been wrote off all my life and to think they said I’d never achieve anything, just goes to show what a human is capable of.! Massive thank you πŸ™πŸΌ to everyone who supported me in my comeback your the best fans ever, god bless you all.πŸ™πŸΌ” he said.

Fury is expected to have a third rematch with Deontay, who has invoked his rematch clause and has vowed to knockout Fury to reclaim his belt. The fight is expected to take place in June, and Fury will be looking to do the double on the American when they meet again for the third time in June 2020.

The first bout between the two, ended in a draw, but most boxing fans despite the knockdown Fury suffered in that bout still saw the British Boxer as a clear winner. He sure did proved some of his doubters wrong in their second fight with the knockdown.
