British WAG and reality TV star, Rebekah Vardy and her husband Jamie Vardy who welcomed their newborn daughter on December 28th 2019 have named her Olivia Grace.

Rebekah Vardy and her husband who had an exclusive interview with Hello! magazine while speaking to the magazine about their newborn,  Olivia Grace and relationship, said:

“Jamie was brilliant – so supportive and encouraging. He even tried to crack a joke about the epidural needle to take my mind off it and the painful contractions.

“I couldn’t wait to see the back of 2019. But with a new baby (Olivia Grace) and a new year ahead of us, it’s like a fresh start.”

Rebekah Vardy whose 2019 saw her clashing with her fellow WAG, Coleen Rooney, the wife of footballer Wayne, who claimed her Instagram account was the source of leaked stories about her private life.

Rebekah Vardy also revealed that she had suffered anxiety and stress at the thought the baby might arrive on Christmas Day, while her husband was training with Leicester City.

She said: “I’d been very ill with anxiety and stress and was panicking that she might be born on Christmas Day, while Jamie was training and I was on my own with the kids.

“The last thing I wanted was to miss Christmas Day with our children.”

Vardy, who has appeared on ITV’s Loose Women and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, was admitted to Leicester General Hospital on December 27 and experienced a 16-hour labour.

She also has two children from previous relationships and her husband has a daughter.

They said Olivia’s siblings had helped choose the name.

Former England striker Jamie told the magazine: “Although Becky tells me I’m a typical man and don’t show much emotion, deep inside I’m over the moon with my kids. I love having a big family. It’s matured me and kept me grounded.”

The couple married in May 2016, the year Leicester won the Premier League.
