Popular musician, Yemi Alade said she cannot contain her joy, as she shares photos of her younger brother who was recently commissioned as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
Yemi Alade on Thursday 19th December 2019, took to her Instagram page to share a series of photos of her younger brother, explaining to her fans how proud she is to be his elder sister, saying:
“I Can’t Contain My Joy! My Not So Little Baby Brother just Graduated with A B.Sc in Psychology and Thus endorsed as ASP of the Nigerian Police Force!
Thank you for your service! I’m so proud! So happy! You are truly the son of our dad Late Commissioner of Police, Provost Marshall J.A.Alade!! I swear I am not crying, someone is cutting Onions!

Yemi Alade’s younger brother was amongst the 623 cadets who graduated from the Nigerian Police Academy Wudil in Kano State and later commissioned as Police officers by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.
President Muhammadu Buhari who attended the ceremony had given a speech to the newly commissioned officers, where he said the Nigerian Police remained a critical area in the country’s domestic security, hence much emphasis was accorded to the sector.
He said: “the Nigerian Police Academy Wudil was meant to produce police officers that would foster the security of the Nation. Therefore, I implore you to operate professionally, gallantly and courageously.”
Congratulating the officers, urged them to always remember that Nigeria and the law-abiding Nigerians have entrusted on them to protect their lives and property.
The Commandant of the Academy, AIG Ibrahim Zanna, said the 628 cadets of the Regular course two, out of which 83 are females have successfully graduated as Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs).
