The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry makes a surprise appearance at the One Young World Conference on Friday, as he crashed the roundtable discussion on gender equality in Windsor Castle with his wife, Meghan Markle.
The Duchess of Sussex arrived at the castle in an electric Audi E-Tron driven by the prince for the event with the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and One Young World summit. She went for a head-to-toe red look for the event, opting for a red leather skirt by Hugo Boss, a cranberry V-neck sweater and matching deep red suede heels. She also wore her gold and diamond studs by Emily Mortimer.

According to People, Meghan after taking her place at the roundtable discussion on gender equality, thanked them for “letting him crash the party.”
“In terms of gender equality, which has been something I have championed for quite a long time, you know I think that conversation can’t happen without men being part of it,” Meghan told the group.
“And this is something that is also very key to the way my husband feels and he has been working in this space since 2013, which a lot of people don’t notice as much.I think that’s what’s really important. You can’t have a conversation about women’s empowerment with just women.
“And so it seemed to make complete sense to let him join today. Thank you for letting him crash the party.”
The One Young World Summit included leaders running projects that support equality and inclusion in countries including South Africa, Nigeria, Iraq, Malawi and Bangladesh.
Harry also joined in on the discussion, where he asked if there was a generation gap and if older men had proved unwilling to change their ways.
This surprise appearance from Prince Harry comes a day after Meghan stepped out for the opening ceremony of the One Young World Summit. The global forum for young leaders brings together 2,000 young people from over 190 countries around the world to promote social impact.
The One Young World’s mission is to create the next generation of more responsible and effective leadership, a cause Meghan is fiercely passionate about.
The discussion will cover how these young leaders are driving meaningful change for empowering women. They will share achievements and best practices that have helped empower communities to overcome complex challenges and significant obstacles.
