Brazilian and Latin Pop star, Gabriel Diniz has died after it was reported that the small plane the singer was travelling in to go celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday, crashed immediately after takeoff in Sergipe.
According to multiple reports, Gabriel Diniz was on his way to Karoline Calheiro’s birthday party in Maceió when his plane crashed in the town of Porto do Mato in Estancia, on the Southern Coast of Sergipe, which is the smallest state in Brazil.
The crash happened on Monday 27th May 2019, and Gabriel Diniz who was just 28, was pronounced dead afterwards.
The singer was one of those very active people on social media, and his last post after his performance a day before the crash was him talking about his fans and fan love. He had performed in Feira de Santana, in Salvador on May 26, and posted photos from his performance, sharing a message with his fans. He had posted this message:
“Always a joy to return to Feira de Santana and be greeted with such joy and with so much positive energy thank you for the kindness guys,” his message, translated to English, reads.
“A real crowd enjoying our show,” his post concludes. “Until next time God willing.
The news of his death has hit the streets and the Latin Nation, as fans all over, even footballers as Paris Saint Germain stars such as Neymar Jr, Dani Alves and the likes have all taken to their social media pages to show their respect.
