Sir Arkwright who is the outgoing British High Commissioner to Nigeria, earlier today, met with the National Leader of the ruling party of All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at his Bourdillon Home in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Sir Arkwright who a few days ago, met with President Muhammadu Buhari and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in a separate location alongside Archbishop of Canterbury over the forthcoming 2019 general elections and security issues, also discussed similar issue with Bola Tinubu.
In a visit that looked more like a ‘thank you visit’, Sir Arkwright who has been in Nigeria since 2015, in his meeting with Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu said that, they agreed that the election process should be free, fair, credible and peaceful.
He also said they agreed on the importance of security forces remaining neutral before, during and after the elections.
Though the British High Commissioner is yet to make public or official his departure date, Chief Bola Tinubu while welcoming the High Commissioner to his house, praised him for the good work he has done since coming to Nigeria, while also sending his congratulatory message to him and his entire team.

The British High Commissioner on their part, put up this message on their social media handle about the visit:
