Kylie Jenner was on hand to cheer up her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet as they attended a BAFTAs dinner on Sunday night, Daily Mail reports.
The couple made a cosy appearance in the audience at London’s Royal Festival Hall, before joining a string of stars at a post-awards show dinner.
Despite being tipped as the favourite for the Best Actor award for his role in Marty Supreme, Timothee missed out on the prize to I Swear star Robert Aramayo.
Kylie Jenner ensured she was ready to support her boyfriend as she playfully perched on his lap while they posed for photos together.
Fans had been hoping to catch a glimpse of the couple of the BAFTAs red carpet, but Kylie Jenner opted against posing for snaps with Timothee, instead heading straight inside to take her seat in the audience.
Despite the fact he was up for an award, Timothee didn’t seem too interested in the ceremony, as he was spotted texting on his phone.
The Dune star was sent multiple messages by a friend and even recieved a meme of himself wearing the bold orange suit he donned at the premiere of his film, Marty Supreme in Los Angeles in December.
Timothee later scrolled through his imessages while chatting to glamorous partner Kylie Jenner who wowed in a plunging black gown with silver jewelled detailing on the front.
Kylie Jenner and the Oscar-nominee have been dating for more than three years and already live together, with marriage being a consideration, according to a Daily Mail source.
Timothée was predicted to win the prestigious Best Actor gong after his previous triumphs at the Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes last month.
However his winning streak ended when rising British star Robert Aramayo’s name was called for his role in drama I Swear, in a shock win that saw him beat out both Timothée and Lenaordo DiCaprio.
The movie, which sees Timothée play aspiring table tennis champion Marty Mauser, now ties with 1969’s Woman In Love and 2004’s Finding Neverland for most BAFTA losses.
Amongst its nominations Marty Supreme was up for Best Film, which was won by One Battle After Another and Best Supporting Actress, which Odessa A’Zion lost to Sinners star Wunmi Mosaku.
One Battle After Another, nominated in 14 categories, took home six BAFTAs including Best film and director but, shockingly, not Leading Actor, or Supporting Actress.
Meanwhile Sinners, nominated in 13 categories, took home only three.
Leonardo DiCaprio is the most-BAFTA-nominated actor in history but has only once won, for The Revenant.
The extent to which Robert Aramayo’s affects the chances of either him or Chalamet winning an Oscar is up for debate – it should be noted though that Aramayo is not Oscar nominated.
The best actor Oscar nominees are Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Wagner Moura, Ethan Hawke and Michael B Jordan.
While accepting his Best Actor award Robert, overcome with emotion, told the crowd: ‘I absolutely can’t believe this. I can’t believe I’m looking at people like you [Leonardo DiCaprio] never mind that I’m stood here.
He added: ‘I honestly cannot believe that I have won this award I really cannot. Everyone in this category blows me away.
‘When I was in school Ethan Hawke came to speak to us at Juillard and he gave an amazing talk on longevity as an actor, protecting your instrument and avoiding self destructive behaviours, it had an incredible impact on every one in that room.’
As the camera panned to the fellow actors in the category, Leonardo was seen clapping politely while Timothee also managed a smile.
With 28 gongs awarded on Sunday night, the main winners were One Battle After Another with six prizes. Sinners, Frankenstein and I Swear followed with three each whilst Hamnet won two gongs.
