Rihanna suffered a wardrobe malfunction as she attended her partner A$AP Rocky’s fashion show in New York City on Friday night, Daily Mail reports.
The 37-year-old Savage x Fenty founder captured the eye in a black leather coat that doubled as a mini-dress from Rocky’s Fall 2026 collection, according to the report by Daily Mail.
However the statement piece proved to be a bit of liability once she rose from her seat, as the slit up the back exposed part of her derriere.
When Rihanna was glimpsed outside the venue, she held onto the back of the dress with both hands in an unsuccessful attempt to keep her rear end covered.
With temperatures hovering around 30 degrees F, Rihanna stayed warm in a black fur scarf that matched the coat’s black fur cuffs.
Rihanna, who recently fueled those marriage rumors again after flashing a ring on her wedding finger, coordinated her look with footless tights and pointy heels and kept her cool Saint Laurent shades on during part of the show.
Her significant other, who is father to Rihanna’s sons RZA, three, and Riot, two, and daughter Rocki, five months, was seen outside the event as well, bundled up in jeans and jacket and a furry hood.
This was the third runway presentation for Rocky’s brand AWGE and the first to happen in New York City, bypassing Paris Fashion Week for something closer to home. Rocky, 37, hails from Harlem.
The brand has been described as rebellious streetwear blending luxury with gritty and innovative design and the current line puts a new spin on ties, suits, waistcoats and sportswear.
There are even Ray-Ban sunglasses that flash the name of Rocky’s new album, Don’t Be Dumb, per Harper’s Bazaar.
Once inside the venue, Rihanna looked cool and collected as she sat front row, joined by A$AP Nast on her right.
The Barbadian superstar and her man got in an early Valentine’s Day celebration after the show.
It’s been speculated that Rihanna has secretly married her long-term partner and father of her children, especially as she’s referred to Rocky as her ‘loving husband’ and he’s described her as his ‘wife.’
Rihanna fueled the rumors when she was spotted grocery shopping in Los Angeles earlier in the week while flashing a huge ring on her wedding finger. She’s been seen wearing the bling before.
The couple have been together since 2020.
When journalist Clover Hope asked if he looks forward to being a husband, the Am I Dreaming music artist teased, ‘How you know I’m not already a husband?’
But Rocky wouldn’t divulge any details and added, ‘I’m still not gonna confirm it.’
Fans took to social media to share their opinions on whether or not the power couple have actually tied the knot.
One person wrote on X, ‘They are not married. They like freedom.’
Another reasoned why the lovebirds might want to keep their business under wraps.
‘I don’t understand what the secret would be about if Rihanna and A$AP are married,’ the fan commented. ‘They [have] kids and everyone [has] been happy for them, so why hide being married?’
The social media user, whose handle is @Adore_Shay, added, ‘Sometimes celebrities just wanna keep something to themselves maybe? I don’t know.’
That sighting came after Bad Bunny delivered what was estimated to be the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show ever – knocking Rihanna down to fourth place.
Bad Bunny reportedly reached 135.4 million people worldwide, breaking the previous record held by Kendrick Lamar, who netted 133.5 million viewers last year.
Usher’s star-studded show in February 2024 was watched by 129.3 million people, with Rihanna trailing just behind him with 121 million viewers in 2023.
Rihanna’s Super Bowl show was preceded by a frenzy of feverish anticipation, particularly since she had previously made a point of rejecting the gig.
Back in 2019, she said she had ‘absolutely’ turned down the Super Bowl that year in solidarity with NFL players who were ‘taking a knee’ and refusing to stand for the national anthem in protest against the police.
‘I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler,’ she told Vogue at the time. The show she declined was eventually performed by Maroon 5, featuring Big Boi and Travis Scott.
A few years later, however, she underwent a change of heart and performed at the 2023 Super Bowl amid an explosion of fanfare.
