Jennifer Lopez Denied Entry Into Chanel Store In Turkey

Jennifer Lopez was refused entry into a Chanel store at Istinye Park in Istanbul after security ‘failed to recognise her’ on Monday, DailyMail reports.

According to the report by DailyMail, after Jennifer Lopez, 56, was denied entry at the prestige boutique she went next door and ‘spent thousands of dollars’ during a three-hour shopping spree.

Jennifer Lopez had been wandering around a shopping centre in the Turkish city and attempted to enter a Chanel store before a guard told her ‘We’re full’.

Unfazed by the snub, Jennifer Lopez said ‘Okay, no problem’, before walking into a different store.

The singer and actress was later welcomed into Celine and Beymen where she splashed the cash, according to Turkish media.

A music insider told the outlet: ‘Jennifer Lopez is obviously massively successful and talented but it’s been hard for her to find a label who she is on the same page with’.

Despite being refused entry, Chanel later changed their mind after realising who she was and invited her back to store, which JLo declined.

J-Lo is currently on her Up All Night Live in 2025 tour which has seen her perform some raunchy dance moves.

Following her performance, Jennifer took to Instagram to share clips from the gig and penned: ‘ISTANBUL! You were an amazing sold out crowd Tonight.’

Jennifer is now said to be an independent artist, releasing her new single Birthday through a smaller company after splitting from her record label, according to The Sun.

Her 2024 album This Is Me… Now was released under BMG, the same label that represents stars like Kylie Minogue and Rita Ora.

However, the publication reported that the deal was only for one album, and following disappointing sales, both parties agreed to go their separate ways.

‘After her last album came out, it was decided she wouldn’t continue with BMG as it wasn’t the success she wanted.

‘It only went to No55 in the UK. But her team want to push forward with new music. She has spent a lot of time in the studio this year.’

It comes after the singer took to the stage for an electric performance at the Regnum Carya Hotel.

The evening held even greater significance as it doubled as a pre-birthday celebration for the star, who turned 56 last month.

In May Jennifer told El Pais that the split from Ben Affleck was a ‘difficult time’ but she would be stronger for it. ‘I’m proud of myself for that and I’m proud that I was able to navigate my children through difficult times, that they’re stronger and better because of it.’

Jennifer and Ben tied the knot in 2022 after rekindling their romance.

But in August 2024, she filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary.
