Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy Tristan Thompson was slammed for leaving out one of his children in his latest Instagram post, DailyMail reports.
On Saturday, the 34-year-old NBA star Tristan Thompson took to social media to share a tribute to his daughter True on her seventh birthday after the first grader celebrated with a lavish arcade-themed party.
He shared a compilation of throwback photos with three of his four children alongside a caption gushing about his only daughter
In addition to True, Thompson is also father to two-year-old son Tatum, whom he shares with Kardashian, 40.
Tristan Thompson also included photos of his son Prince, eight, whom he shares with his ex Jordan Craig.
However, fans questioned why the father-of-four did not include his son Theo, whom he welcomed with Maralee Nichols in December 2021, in any of his family photos since he also included Khloe’s niece, Dream Kardashian, eight.
In addition to True, Tristan Thompson is also father to two-year-old son Tatum, whom he shares with Kardashian, 40.
He also included photos of his son Prince, eight, whom he shares with his ex Jordan Craig.
In his caption, he began: ‘Happy birthday Twinny!! My TuTu is 7 today!! I Can’t believe how time flies.’
He affectionately called his daughter ‘Momma’ and said she is ‘literally the light that shines bright in my life.’
‘When I see you I see mommy aka GiGi,’ he continued, referring to his mother Andrea, True’s grandmother.
‘True you bring your brothers, mommy and all your cousins soo much happiness you literally spark any room you walk in,’ he added.
‘You have the best soul ever I’m soo blessed to have as my daughter. Keep being amazing each and every day. Daddy always got you.
At the end, he added a crossed finger emoji, representing a promise, and a red heart. ‘I can’t wait to play tag and jump on the trampoline. I love you Twin.’
Many fans took to the comments section of his post to point out that he left out his third child Theo.
‘Boy where yo other kid,’ one person wrote while another added: ‘And the other one?’
One Instagram user left a comment asking if True had ever ‘met’ her younger brother Theo.
Another person wrote: ‘Where’s the other kid????’
‘The fact that you choose which children to acknowledge is sick,’ one person commented.
Another user called the birthday tribute ‘sweet and all’ but noted that leaving out one of his children born out of an affair is a ‘whole messed up situation.’
‘This is all sweet and all but everyone defending him for not acknowledging the other kid…imagine in a few years that kid makes contact because he is old enough to understand THIS whole messed up situation??!!!’
The Cleveland Cavaliers player and Kardashian were first romantically linked in 2016, dating on and off for about six years with their tumultuous relationship plagued by multiple cheating scandals.
Two years into their relationship, they welcomed their first child together, daughter True, in April 2018.
Not long after, it emerged that the basketball player had been unfaithful to the reality star during her pregnancy and they broke up.
They ended up reconciling in 2020 but called it quits again in June 2021.
Six months later, Tristan Thompson was embroiled in scandal when he made headlines for fathering a baby with another woman while he was still in a relationship with Kardashian.
After already giving birth to Theo, Nichols sued him, claiming he was the father of her child, which he denied at the time.
Then, it was revealed that just one month before Theo’s birth, Thompson and Kardashian had conceived their second child together via surrogate.
Though Thompson initially denied being Theo’s biological father but later confirmed his paternity in January 2022.
‘Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,’ he wrote at the time.
‘I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.’
He also issued a public apology to his then-girlfriend for the ‘heartache and humiliation’ he caused her with his secret affair.
That same year, he agreed to pay Nichols $10,000 per month in child support and was ordered to backpay her $58,000 in March 2024.
Since the child’s birth, Thompson has not made a public appearance with Theo.
