Jessica Alba indulged in a ‘healing’ trip to Mexico City with a group of friends amid her divorce from her longtime husband Cash Warren, DailyMail reports.
The former couple tied the knot in 2008 and welcomed three children together – daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, seven.
In January, Jessica Alba announced that she and her husband had separated after she embarked on a ‘journey of self realization and transformation for years- both as an individual and in partnership with Cash.’
Jessica Alba filed for divorce on February 7 and is represented by Laura Wasser, whose celebrity clientele has included such A-list names as Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Kevin Costner and Angelina Jolie.
Now, as she and Cash embark on the legal proceedings to dissolve their marriage, Jessica Alba has taken her mind off her woes with a vacation abroad.
Although she recently ignited romance rumors with comedy writer Alex Edelman, 35, he was not pictured in the Instagram album she shared from the holiday.
‘Forever memories made – feeling connected, satiated and nourished,’ wrote Jessica, whose paternal great-grandparents were from Mexico. ‘#CDMX might just be my new home away from home,’ she added, using an abbreviation for the capital.
Late in the Instagram album, she posted a cryptic meme that indicated that her vacation had acted as an emotional balm for her.
The meme read: ‘Healing wounds as a child,’ with a picture of a Band-Aid, and then: ‘Healing wounds as an adult,’ with the phrase: ‘Trip to Mexico.’
No doubt the dissolution of her marriage to Cash is going to get complicated as they have no prenup and there is plenty of money at stake.
In 2016, Forbes estimated Alba’s net worth was around $340 million due to the success The Honest Company, which she founded in 2011.
Five years later, they retracted the report and said with her ‘6% stake (including options)’ in the brand, she ‘would only be worth just under $100 million.’
‘That is far less than the $340 million Forbes estimated she was worth when we estimated her stake to be 20% and put her on our 2016 list of America’s most successful self-made women,’ the publication explained in their correction.

The Honest Company, Inc. is a consumer goods company based in Los Angeles and founded by Alba, Christopher Gavigan, and Brian Lee. The company is valued at roughly $640 million.
Among their assets is a $10M Beverly Hills mansion that they bought in 2017.
Meanwhile, Jessica’s latest post also included a photo of Jessica in lingerie, showing off her sculpted physique as she availed herself of a spa treatment.
She was joined by a claque of friends comprised of Life In Pieces actress Angelique Cabral, photographer Carlos Eric Lopez and businesswoman Elsa Collins.
Their trip included a visit to the remains of the ancient Mesoamerican city of Teotihuacán, where Jessica Alba posed for a couple of solo shots.
She and her friends gathered together for a group shot of them meditating in front of one of the iconic pyramids of Teotihuacán, which is not far from Mexico City.
While in the capital, Jessica mingled with such figures as Karla Martinez De Salas, the elegant head of content at Vogue Mexico & Latin America.
Jessica, Angelique, Carlos, Elsa and Karla all got together for lunch with Latina magazine founder Christy Haubegger at the tony seafood restaurant Contramar.
At some stage her gallivanting had apparently tired Jessica out, as she included a snap of herself catching a nap in the back of a car.
When she announced her separation from Cash on January 16, Jessica wrote on Instagram that she had ‘been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash.’
