And the 69-year-old actress Deborah Lee-Furness appeared to be sending a message to her ex Hugh Jackman just hours after he was spotted kissing his new ladylove Sutton Foster.
Deborah Lee-Furness, who sported a $1,100 violet silk shirt, accessorised with an ‘evil eye’ ring which she wore on her right hand.
The jewelry is believed to protect its wearer from bad luck and evil spirits.
It’s known as a ‘good luck’ charm in certain cultures and can be also be worn as a necklace.
The ‘evil eye ring’ traditionally consists of four concentric circles that form an ‘eye’.
Deborah Lee-Furness was seen wearing an ‘evil eye’ ring with a silver casing and blue inlay with a dark ‘eye’ at its centre.
The mother-daughter duo were joined by Tennis Australia director Jayne Hrdlicka, and former Australian Open doubles winner Judy Tegart-Dalton.
Deb appeared cheerful as she arrived at Rod Laver Arena with Ava, 19, who was clearly excited at the prospect of a big day of tennis.
The much loved performer put on a colourful display in an outfit from high-end US label BODE.
The quirky garment featured an print of a cowboy riding a bucking bronco on the left hand side.
The image was augmented with the phrases ‘the round up’, and ‘let ‘er buck’, while the eye-catching shirt also featured an equine theme on the collar and hem.
Deborra-Lee matched her colourful top with a pair of white casual drawstring pants.
She finished her outfit with a pair of similarly quirky raffia platform shoes by Robert Clergerie.
In keeping with the violet theme of her outfit, Deborra-Lee finished her look with a pair of similarly-tinted round sunglasses.
Meanwhile, daughter Ava was a vision in black, stepping out in a black and brown laced mini dress that she paired with high black boots.
Ava finished her classic look with a pendant choker around her neck, choosing to leave her brunette locks down for the occasion.
The duo looked chuffed to be in each other’s company, happily beaming for photographers as they arrived.
Deborra-Lee’s Australian Open outing comes just hours after Hugh was spotted kissing Sutton Foster for the first time since their relationship was exposed.
Hugh and Sutton, 49, looked deeply in love and couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they repeatedly kissed while in the car at a San Fernando In-N-Out.
Sutton was seen tenderly cradling Jackman’s face as they locked lips while waiting to order the fast food in the drive-thru line – days before the LA fires broke out.
Their outing comes after the Logan star attended a performance of Foster’s production of Once Upon A Mattress in Los Angeles over the weekend and the pair were seen holding hands on a date in Santa Monica.
The two stars had previously shared the stage on Broadway when the played the leads in an acclaimed production of the classic musical The Music Man.
Foster filed for an uncontested divorce from her husband Ted Griffin in October of last year.
She had been married to the 53-year-old Ocean’s Eleven screenwriter for 10 years.
Foster and Jackman have been swarmed in recent months by rumors that an affair between the two scuttled their marriages.
Hugh and Deborra-Lee announced that they were dissolving their 27-year marriage in September 2023.
