Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is finally addressing those rumors about a potential attraction between her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, and fellow cast member Dorit Kemsley.
Over the past few years, rumors have swirled on Reddit and on social media that Mauricio and Dorit were attracted to each other – especially after Dorit was spotted kissing his shoulder when they all took a group hug during the first episode of season 12.
And, while Kyle Richards and Kemsley have been close friends during their time on the show, it looks like things will dramatically shift this season, as the two of them are seen brawling in the season 14 trailer.
During the trailer, Garcelle Beauvais claims she heard that Kyle Richards often texts with PK, Dorit’s estranged husband with whom she is currently separated from.
But now Kyle Richards is shutting down rumors about why the two were fighting – and explained that it has nothing to do with Mauricio or PK.
‘No! Oh my God,’ Kyle told Extra TV.
‘The funny thing is there had been rumors about Dorit and Mauricio, which were stupid and ridiculous, but no… I was just at my wits end,’ Richards continued.
‘I was like “I cannot.” That’s where I draw the line — are you implying that I’m doing something not appropriate with PK?’ the star shared.
She then revealed what her dynamic with PK is really like, explaining that he’s not even like a brother, but ‘one of the girls.’
‘He will admit that himself,’ Kyle Richards said with a laugh.
Bush then asked if Richards was implying that she wasn’t attracted to him, which she said agreed.
‘I love PK to pieces, but no,’ she said. ‘He’s more like a brother.’
Even though the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills doesn’t premiere until November 14 on Bravo, Richards has already admitted that it was a tough season for her.
In the trailer, she can even be heard saying that she was ‘done’ with the show.
‘I had a meltdown,’ Kyle Richards admitted of the scene during her recent cover story with Us Weekly.
‘My first in 14 years. I was like, I don’t think I can physically do this anymore,’ she admitted.
‘I walked off the set and didn’t shoot the next day.
I was at my breaking point. I have so much on my plate, and some of the women just push.’
Thankfully, however, Richards continued on, and was able to finish out the season.
‘I needed that break,’ she told the outlet.
‘I think they saw [I was] really struggling and were reaching out to me. They actually helped me get through the rest of the season.’
