Ben Affleck and his son Samuel, 12, were left stranded on Saturday when the Argo director’s robin’s egg blue electric Ford Bronco broke down, Daily Mail reports.
According to the report by Daily Mail, the father-son duo were both wearing blue suits with the youngster opting for Nike shoes while dad wore brown loafers.
The Gone Girl actor, 52, also wore a tan trench coat as he looked at his phone, presumably arranging for a ride to wherever they were headed before the $465,000 car broke down.
Eventually, the car was loaded onto the back of a flatbed tow truck and taken to a Circle K service station.
Once at the gas station, Ben Affleck, who also owns a $120,000 BMW – and Sam were seen carrying snacks from the convenience store.
Ben Affleck shares Samuel as well as Violet, 18, and Fin, 15, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.
Last week, the devoted dad was spotted taking Fin shopping for a Halloween costume at a local Spirit Halloween store.
The outings with Sam and Fin come amid insider reports that Ben and his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, 55, are ‘focusing’ on their kids amid their complicated divorce.
The pair ‘are still moving forward with the divorce’ despite wild rumors they were seen ‘kissing and hugging’ last month.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ after two years of marriage.
She shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 56.
‘They want to show the kids that things are amicable,’ the insider shared. ‘They want to stay friendly. There’s still a lot of love.’
JLo and Affleck first started dating in 2002 after playing lovers on set of 2003’s Gigli and quickly got engaged.
They split up in 2004, just before they were set to become husband and wife.
They both went on to wed other people – she exchanged vows with Marc Anthony in 2004, while he walked down the aisle with Jennifer Garner in 2005.
But after splitting from their respective partners, they eventually found their way back to each other.
Ben Affleck and Jen rekindled their romance in 2021 and finally said ‘I do’ in Las Vegas in July of 2022.
