Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife Jennifer Meyer revealed she is engaged to billionaire heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi as she showed off her huge diamond ring on Saturday.
Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife Jennifer Meyer who is jewelry designer, 47, shared a loved-up snap with Geoffrey, 33, who’s the son of Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi, 70, with his arms around her, Daily Mail reports.
In the image, her hand rested gently on his, with the dazzling engagement ring which he picked out himself, on her finger catching the light.
‘YES!!!’ the mom-of-two wrote in the caption of the Instagram snap, along with a black heart emoji, the infinity symbol, and sparkling stars emoji.
Tobey Maguire’s ex-wife Jennifer Meyer whose best pals are Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, and Geoffrey went red carpet official last November, after dating for several months.
She also re-shared a snap from her gal pal Allison Wise, who posted a photo of them together with Jennifer showing off the sparkler once again.
‘So happy for this angel queen – my everything BEST friend who is marrying the greatest man and her should mate! I love you and can’t wait to keep celebrating you both!’ Allison wrote on the snap.
Jennifer’s 476K followers were quick to congratulate her.
CEO and co-founder of Birdies, Bianca Gates, wrote, ‘Wow!!! Huge congratulations!!! And that ring!!!?!? I wouldn’t expect anything less for the jewelry queen!’
To which Jennifer replied: ‘It was allll him! Total surprise.’

Ben Affleck’s ex-wife Jennifer Garner wrote a simple ‘Congratulations!!!!’ Paris Hilton also sent a note of congratulations.

Jennifer made her red carpet debut with Geoffrey at the Baby2Baby event in Los Angeles last November.
She beamed with pride as she put her arm around the dashing Geoffrey.
Geoffrey goes by Geoff.
On his Linkedin page it says he is the CEO of The Ogunlesi Group in Los Angeles and before that he did A&R at 300 Entertainment. Prior to that he did A&R at Warner Bros. Music Group.
He has worked with rapper Young Thug for many years.
Geoffrey comes from a prominent Nigerian family as his father is Adebayo Ogunlesi, a Nigerian lawyer and investment banker with an estimated net worth if $2.3 billion.
He recently sold Global Infrastructure Partners, the private equity firm he co-founded, to BlackRock for $12.5 billion. He will join BlackRock as part of the deal.
His firm’s notable acquisitions include London Gatwick Airport, which earned Ogunlesi the nickname ‘The Man Who Bought Gatwick Airport.’
Geoffrey graduated from Amherst College.
Jen is the daughter Ron Meyer, the cofounder of CAA, and former executive at NBC, COO/President of Universal.
Jennifer started being seen with Geoffrey last summer.
Her red carpet debut with Geoffrey came seven years after she split from Tobey, 49, and three years since she filed for divorce.
Jennifer shares two kids with the Spider-Man actor.
The pair met in 2003 while he was shooting Seabiscuit. They were engaged three years later, and welcomed their daughter Ruby, 17, in November 2006.
They went on to marry the following year, and welcomed their second child, son Otis, 15, in 2009.
After nearly 10 years of marriage, Maguire and Meyer separated in 2016.
Her split with Maguire made front page news. In a joint statement to ET, Maguire and Meyer announced back in October 2016 that they were separating.
‘After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.’
Meyer filed for divorce on October 28, 2020.
Meyer previously gushed about her ex-husband to Us Weekly, saying, ‘He’s my best friend… He’s the greatest ex-husband a girl could ever have.’
And in a 2022 Meyer made a rare comment about her split from Maguire during an interview on World’s First Podcast.
While speaking to her close pals Erin and Sara Foster, she talked about their very amicable split.
‘I was able to make a conscious decision about how this breakup was going to go and trust that the universe had my back, had our back as a couple for our children, for all of these things, and really, it’s been the most beautiful experience of my life having this beautiful breakup,’ she reflected.
She added: ‘I would literally do anything in the world for Tobey. He is my brother. I love him to death and we have the most beautiful family.’
