Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky looked as loved-up as ever during their very luxurious family getaway to Barcelona, Daily Mail reports.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2010, have jetted off to the Spanish city with their three children to celebrate Elsa’s 48th birthday in style.
Spanish actress Elsa, who is from Madrid, took to Instagram on Saturday to share an insight into their epic sightseeing getaway, which was complete with a luxury meal.
In one shot, Elsa and Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth, 40, looked as smitten as ever as they cuddled up to one another while posing on a traditional Spanish street.
Elsa looked effortlessly stylish in a red summer dress and black platform heels for the outing, while she kept her essentials in a lavish $1,600 Loewe tote bag.
She shielded her eyes with dark shades as she wrapped her arm around Chris, who cut a casual figure in a black T-shirt and dark trousers.
The couple were joined by their kids – India, 12, and twin boys Sasha and Tristan, 10 – and Elsa shared an array of family pictures as she documented the trip.
Elsa shared one video of Chris Hemsworth and their kids as they visited the luxury Michelin star restaurant Disfrutar, which can cost anything upwards of $480 per person.
Chris Hemsworth was seen smiling as a quirky smoking box was placed in front of him on the table, while his son nervously put his hand in the billowing steam.
The family appeared to have gone all in with the fine dining experience as the high-class restaurant is considered to be one of the best in the world.
Elsa also shared pictures of herself and her kids visiting the local tourist attractions, including The Balloon Museum, where they all larked around in ball pits.
The sporty family also cycled around the city and visited a motocross park, where Elsa filmed as her daredevil son tried his hand at off-road motorcycle racing.
The big trip back to Elsa’s native Spain was to celebrate her 48th birthday and she gushed that she had the ‘best’ birthday with her family in Barcelona.
‘Thanks for all my birthday congrats!! I had the best day,’ she penned alongside a smiling picture of herself and Chris Hemsworth.
Hollywood megastars Chris and Elsa tied the knot during the Christmas holidays in 2010.
The couple live in a $30million mansion near Byron Bay with their three children after relocating from Los Angeles to Australia nine years ago.
In 2021, Elsa revealed that she and Chris have a very simple trick for keeping their marriage happy and healthy.
Speaking to Hola! magazine, she said said that the Thor actor has a knack for diffusing any argument with a joke.
‘We enjoy doing the same stuff and Chris has a great sense of humour and knows how to take the sting out of things,’ she said.
