Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are spending time together, PEOPLE reports.
According to the report by PEOPLE, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck The pair were photographed in a car on Sunday, May 19, after Affleck, 51, picked up Lopez, 54, outside the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, California.
Their joint appearance, in which they smiled for the cameras, comes amid reports of marital tension.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were also seen walking together in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles, near BOA Steakhouse and Soho House, with Affleck’s wedding ring visible on his left hand.
Sunday’s outing marks the second time Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were seen together after 47 days. The first time was Wednesday, May 16, at an event to support their kids.
Affleck and Lopez arrived separately, but were both seen wearing their wedding rings as they left together, according to a source.
The same day, Lopez “liked” an Instagram post from March that detailed personality traits keep people from building healthy relationships, shared by relationship coach Lenna Marsak.
The post states that people “cannot build a healthy relationship with someone who lacks integrity & emotional safety,” does not respect others’ time, “lacks effective communication skills,” and “doesn’t know who they are or what they want.”
“Just logged on to IG and noticed @jlo liked my post,” wrote Marsak, who posts under the Instagram handle @yourcourageouscomeback. She shared a screenshot of a notification that indicated Lopez’s official account had liked her post. “Jlo or her PR team, I’ll take it,” she added.
Marsak later shared a video on Friday, May 17, asking followers to exercise caution regarding Lopez as she and Affleck face renewed speculation regarding their relationship. “Please be kind to Jennifer Lopez because she’s a human being. I do not know if they’re getting divorced,” she said. “I hope not, but yeah, please.”
Multiple sources have told PEOPLE that Affleck and Lopez are living separately while both in Los Angeles. A source close to Lopez said Affleck has not been staying at the couple’s L.A. home, instead opting to stay at one of their other properties as he films The Accountant 2.
A separate insider told PEOPLE that the pair “did not celebrate Mother’s Day together” earlier this month.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer and Affleck first dated from 2002 to 2004 after meeting on the set of their 2003 movie Gigli. Lopez later wed Marc Anthony, with whom she shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme.
Affleck, meanwhile, married Daredevil costar Jennifer Garner and the two share three kids: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021, and married the following year.
