Chloe Fineman Claps Back At Critics Of Her Cannes Red Carpet Look

Chloe Fineman has a bit of advice for her fashion critics!

On Thursday, May 16, the Saturday Night Live star, 35, responded to trolls who voiced negative opinions about her Cannes Film Festival look, PEOPLE reports.

“No need to be so mean! Thank you ,” the actress wrote in the comment section of Check the Tag’s Instagram account.

The social media account, which is dedicated to posting photos of celebrities and informing fans of where the outfits came from, shared a split photo of Fineman on the red carpet wearing a sparkling, strapless red dress by Celine.

“These picture are weird. Her head looks too big for her body or something,” one user wrote under the images. Another added, “This dress is giving us nothing.”

Other comments were barely better: “She’s a very beautiful woman, but this makes her look like a bobble head.”

However, Chloe Fineman still seemed to enjoy her time in the South of France, posing at the event that evening beside her Megalopolis co-stars Nathalie Emmanuel and Aubrey Plaza.

In addition to the Celine by Hedi Slimane gown that the comedian wore, she also paired her look with Cartier jewelry.

On Fineman’s Instagram Stories on Thursday, she shared a hand-written note sent to her by the dress’ designer.

“Dear Chloe, Welcome to Cannes!” the card read. “We are so happy to see you wearing CELINE in Cannes. Wishing you a lovely Cannes Film Festival. Warm wishes, the CELINE team.”

And while the actress can pull off a stunning red carpet look, she can also impress her peers in KISS, or rather JoJo Siwa-inspired styles!

“ICONIC. I literally don’t know what to say,” the 20-year-old “Karma” singer wrote on her Instagram Stories earlier this month. Her post included a clip of Fineman impersonating Siwa in an SNL skit — complete with a black and silver bedazzled costume and face paint.

“This is f—ing crazy,” the Dance Moms alum continued. “3 and a half minute skit on SNL….”

During the parody, Chloe Fineman as Siwa said, “That’s right! I’m a bad girl now! Yes, yes, it’s a pretty big change.”

“I used to be rainbow sparkles, and now I’m black sparkles. I look like if a figure skater joined a street gang,” she continued as the Weekend Update segment went on.
