MMA Fighter Israel Adesanya Unveils The First Sets Of His Multi-Million Dollar Subdivision Build-To-Rent Real Estate Named 'Adesanya Close'

MMA fighter Israel Adesanya has finally unveiled the first sets of his multi-million dollar build-to-rent subdivision real estate portfolio in his adopted country of New Zealand.

The real estate, which according to him is the first sets, was managed by his father, Adesanya senior.

The MMA fighter Israel Adesanya who has taken a break from fighting after his title fight loss to Sean Strickland at UFC 293 last September, had on Friday 22 March 2024, taken to his official social media handle to post a short video from the unveiling of the subdivision real estate, showing family and friends at the official unveiling ceremony in New Zealand.

From the video he shared, the build-to-rent subdivision is located in Palmerston North on the North Island of New Zealand. The subdivision is called “Adesanya Close,” named after the two-time UFC middleweight champion.

According to the report by MMAfighting, speaking to property manager Wade Thompson about the real estate, he said the Adesanya Close listing received 3000 views this past December and that three of seven units have already been purchased. The article also cites property records that estimate Adesanya’s real estate investments to be valued at north of $20 million.

Being one of the top-paid athletes in the history of mixed martial arts, it is not a surprise to see this sort of investment from Adesanya, as he is rumored to own well over 19 properties from Auckland to Dunedin.

Adesanya has become known for juggling multiple projects, including signing a deal with sports apparel brand Puma in 2020 and promoting a documentary about his life titled Stylebender.
