Selling Sunset alum Christine Quinn’s son was rushed to the E.R. after her husband Christian Dumontet allegedly threw a bag of glass that hit the child, E! News reports.

According to the report by E! News, Christine Quinn’s son Christian Georges was rushed to the hospital on March 19 after a domestic incident involving her husband Christian Dumontet, a source with knowledge of the situation told E! News.

Dumontet was arrested on the same day for assault with a deadly weapon, per the Los Angeles Police Department. According to authorities, Dumontet “threw a bag with glass but missed and struck the child causing injury.”

While police noted that first responders did not transport the child to the hospital, a source with knowledge told E! News paramedics on site did determine that baby Christian needed to go to the emergency room, leading Quinn to take him there herself.

Dumontet remains in custody on $30,000 bail, according to jail records.

Quinn married Dumontet, a fellow realtor in 2019 during a televised wedding ceremony for the second season of Selling Sunset. Her pregnancy was documented on season four, with Quinn giving birth to her son in May 2021—an experience she said that had “traumatized” her.

“Both myself, and baby Christian are lucky to be alive,” Quinn wrote in a July 2021 Instagram post. “After my water broke the day I was filming, I was rushed to the hospital already 9cm dilated. Hyperventilating from the excruciating pain, I was immediately rushed into an emergency crash C-section due to both our heart rates instantly plummeting.”

Quinn said Christian was “seconds away from not making it” as his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck.

“I thank God everyday for my blessings, and my miracle baby,” she added. “Always remember life is too short and grudges are a waste of perfect happiness. Let go of what you can, and take chances. Give everything and have no regrets. Life is too short to be unhappy.”
