Afrobeat singer Harrysong has been appointed as Executive Assistant on Entertainment to the Delta State Governor, by the governor himself, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
The singer Harrysong took to his official social media handle on Wednesday 3rd, 2024, to break the news to his fans and friends. In reacting to his appointment, the singer posted photos of the governor and himself, and asked that henceforth, he should be addressed as ‘Hon Superstar Harrysong’.
He thanked the governor in his caption of the photos, where he said.
“Newly appointed E.A (Executive Assistant)…Entertainment to the executive governor of Delta state, Rt Hon Sheriff F.O Obnorevwori. Thank you, my governor. Now address me as Hon superstar Harrysong. Thank you so much my governor for entrusting me with this office to work. Deltans get ready for Kingmaker March 30th and Ukodo International Festival 2024,” he said.
The appointment letter as shared by singer Harrysong, with ref number No.5 GD 399/TG3/2277 reads:
“I am pleased to convey to you, your appointment as executive assistant (entertainment) to His Excellency, the governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O Oborevwori, with effect from 22nd December 2023.
Your appointment which is at the instance and pleasure of his excellency, the governor attracts the following salary and allowances.”:
