Paris Hilton slammed those who left negative comments about her and husband Carter Reum’s son Phoenix during his first trip to New York City.
Paris Hilton condemned online trolls who left unkind comments about her and husband Carter Reum’s 8-month-old son Phoenix and the size of his head on her recent Instagram post.
“Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable,” Paris wrote on her Instagram Story Oct. 23, “but targeting my child, or anyone else’s for that matter is unacceptable.”
“This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe,” she continued alongside a broken heart emoji. “I’ve worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return.”
And in her heartfelt message, the 42-year-old reflected on feeling like she’s in an unwinnable position when it comes to sharing her life with fans.
“If I don’t post my baby, people assume I’m not a great mother,” she explained, “and if I do post him there are some people who are cruel and hateful. I’m a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable and angelic.”
But at the end of the day, the “Stars are Blind” singer is more focused on raising her baby boy than trying to please her critics.
Paris added, “Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It’s hard to fathom that there are people in this world who would target such innocence. I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy.”
But Paris isn’t the only one pointing out the nasty comments on her Oct. 19 post, which saw her and Phoenix posing together during what she revealed was his first trip to New York City. One fan even compiled a TikTok of the comments on her post, prompting The Simple Life alum to weigh in.
“There are some sick people in this world,” she wrote, per TMZ. “My angel is perfectly healthy.”
She added, “And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain.”
But aside from occasionally calling out her haters, Paris Hilton has been busy basking in her new favourite role with Carter by her side.
“It’s been such a special time,” she recently told E! News. “My little baby boy is my world and he’s made my life feel so complete. My husband is just the sweetest, kindest, most loyal and loving partner—just my everything.”
