Napoli star Victor Osimhen returned to where it all started for him, as he paid a visit to his alma mater in Oregun Lagos, meeting and interacting with his former teachers and mentors. Students were also happy to see him in their school.
The Napoli star Victor Osimhen who did not revealed when the visit happened, shared a series of photos of the visit on his official social media handle, updating his millions of followers about his holiday back in Nigeria.
Victor Osimhen who is one of the hottest strikers right now in the world of football, posted the photos with a caption that reads:
“Oregun!!!Thank You For The Warm Welcome. I sincerely Appreciate All The Love And Support!”
Osimhen who was born in Olusosun, Oregun area of Lagos state, and has always talked about his community in most of his social media engagements, clearly made the visit back to his root, after the AFCON qualifiers game over the weekend.
The 24-year-old Napoli target man scored two goals for the Super Eagles in a 3-2 win away against Sierra Leone to pick up a ticket to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast next year.
The Nigerian star who announced himself as one of the most potent strikers in world football last season, was instrumental in handing Napoli their first title in 33-years. Victor netted a record of 26 goals in 32 Serie A appearances in the just concluded season. He won the golden boot as well, and striker of the season for the Serie A league.
