Super Eagles and African football legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha and his beautiful wife Nkechi Okocha are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary as the couple share a loved-up snap to mark the day.
The former PSG, Bolton player, turned businessman and football pundit, Austin Jay Jay Okocha celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 and marked the occasion with an emotional post on social media.
Austin Jay Jay Okocha posting a photo to mark the special day with his wife Nkechi who is 50 this year, shared a photo of the two of them looking like two newlyweds lovebirds jetting out on a honeymoon on the beautiful Maldives island resort of Sun Siyam Olhuvel, with both clutching to their handbags with a lovely outfit and white sneakers to match. He captioned the photo with these lovely words:
“Happy 25th wedding anniversary to the wife of my youth,” he said.
The 48-year-old ex-footballer who played 73 times for Nigeria’s national team between 1993 and 2006, scoring 14 times, and was a member of three FIFA World Cup squads, is regarded as one of the greatest African football players.
Okocha spent about thirteen years with the Nigerian national side and won the 1994 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) with the Super Eagles.
The couple tied the knot in 1997, and the union has produced two children named Daniella and A-Jay.
