Singer Reekado Banks is in mourning, following the death of his mother, Mrs Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon.
The singer who made the announcement on his official social media handle on Tuesday, did not say when or what killed his mother, but asked fans and the general public to put himself and his family in their prayers as they mourn.
In an emotional tribute posted to his Instagram on Tuesday 27th September 2022, the singer Reekado Banks announced that his Mother, Mrs Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon, had died.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, confidant and friend.
Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon is survived by her husband, sisters, children and grand children.
We implore the general public to keep us in prayers at this difficult time.
The Solomon family,” the photo that looked more like an obituary posted on his social media handle, reads.
Since posting the news, fans and fellow entertainers have been offering their condolences.
