Labour Party Presidential candidate Obi will later today Sunday address Nigerians resident in Canada, as he takes his Presidential campaign abroad.

The Labour Party presidential candidate Obi who seems to be getting the support of most Nigerians ahead of the 2023 Presidential election, revealed this on his official social media handle on Sunday 28th August 2022.

Taking to his social media, Peter Obi, a former Governor of Anambra state, and also a former Vice Presidential candidate under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 Presidential election, posted a photo of the meeting hall, saying:

Later today at 6:00 PM (Toronto time) and 11:00 PM (Nigerian time), I will be engaging Nigerians resident in Canada in an interactive townhall session. I envisage an animated conversation on the future of Nigeria. Please join us. -PO #POinToronto,” he tweeted.

The Sunday meeting being arraigned by the Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi, is coming as Nigerians, mostly youths for are seeking change, continue their two million march across Nigeria for Obi and his aspiration to become the president of the country.

Thousands of supporters of Peter Obi on Friday shut down Port Harcourt in solidarity with his candidature.

Numbering about 10,000, the supporters gathered at the Eleme junction axis of Aba Road, singing songs in praise of Obi.

The supporters, under the aegis of Two Million-man March for Obi, wore white shirts with fez caps and marched through to the stretch of Ikwerre road before terminating their trek at the Isaac Adaka Boro Park.

Peter Obi supporters are known or called ‘Obi-dients’.
