Koulibaly: Paperworks Signed Between Chelsea And Napoli

Senegalese and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly will be a Chelsea player by tomorrow Thursday, after it was reported that both Chelsea and Napoli have signed all the paperwork needed for that to happen.

According to the report by renowned football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Kalidou Koulibaly will sign for Chelsea by tomorrow, after Chelsea and Napoli agreed to a transfer fee of €40million for the very experienced defender.

The deal for Kalidou Koulibaly as being reported by Fabrizio Romano, has been completed and all that is left now is that he will sign in by Thursday, and then fly to Los Angeles. He will be unveiled as the second Chelsea signing after Raheem Sterling who was signed from Manchester City.

Chelsea are also said to sign both Nathan Aké and Presnel Kimpembé, and negotiations are in progress for both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain defenders.

The Senegal international only had one year left on his previous contract with Napoli and will now take home around £160,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will pay €38m (£32.1m) – which will be paid in two instalments – in addition to a further €2m (£1.7m) in bonuses.
The decision to hand Koulibaly a long-term deal marks a huge departure from the Roman Abramovich era, where players over the age of 30 were only given short-term contracts.

But manager Thomas Tuchel has been desperate to add an experienced defender to his backline after losing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen and new co-owner Todd Boehly has backed his manager.

Napoli are already thinking about life after Koulibaly and have two targets lined up as potential replacements.
