The former jet-ski champion reportedly lost control of his flyboard and fell about fifteen meters into Lake Biscarosse, AFP reports.
“Finally a good Sunday of rest and Monday it starts again!”, Added the Marseillais, who fell from a height of some 15 meters into the lake, according to witnesses quoted by the local press.
“I didn’t even drink the cup”
“Thanks to the rescuers, you have ensured serious, I did not even drink the cup”, writes the 43-year-old athlete, known for having managed to cross the Channel in August 2019 aboard his machine.
“It reminds us that we are not birds and that if we are not excellent, gravity wins”, he quips about his accident, the exact causes of which are unknown.
