The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has condoled with the family of the first Civilian Governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife over the death of his wife and a former Anambra first Lady, Chief Mrs Christiana Njideka Ezeife.
Governor Soludo during his condolence visit, described the death of Chief Mrs Christiana Njideka Ezeife as a deep cut on fond memories adding that the loss of a loved one usually comes with a lot of emotional setbacks.
Governor Soludo prayed God to continue to grant the Ezeifes the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and for the soul of the diseased to be granted eternal repose.
He said:
“I visited his excellency today to condole him and his family. His thankful dispostion reminded me of the scriptural admonition that we must give thanks to God in all situaion and at all times.
May God continue to grant the Ezeifes the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, even as we pray for the continued repose of the soul of mama”, he added.
