7 Traffic Robbers Nabbed By Police In Lagos

Officials of Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has on Thursday, revealed that they arrested 7 traffic robbers in different areas of the state.

The Lagos Police RRS in a statement released on their official social media handle on Thursday 17th February 2022, stated that the 7 traffic robbers were arrested at Ikeja City Mall just as National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Mile 2 park assisted the police in arresting four other notorious traffic robbers in the area. 

The RRS in their statement gave the names of four out of the seven traffic robbers suspected to be terrorizing these areas as Segun Peters (22), Kabiru Odeh (25), Nurudeen Suraj (22) and Dennis Ikuvbogie (24) who were arrested at Mile 2 while having a field day.

Other suspects were Anifowoshe Kolawole (20), Patrick Ameke (21) and John Britto (27) were picked around Ikeja City Mall based on complaints on their illicit activities around the area.

How The 7 Traffic Robbers Carry Out Their Operations:

According to the statement by the Lagos State Police Rapid Respond Squad (RRS), the suspects, who were placed under close monitoring before their arrest on Thursday afternoon, on most occasions pretend to be beggars and nose mask vendors. They used the ploy to rob motorists and pedestrians visiting the complex.
