The current Miss Nigeria Universe, Maristella Okpala, has shared more photos as she finally departs Nigeria for the 2021 Miss Universe Pageant in Israel.
Maristella Okpala who had earlier revealed to the world on her social media page on Sunday 28th November 2021, that she was departing Nigeria for Israel where she will be representing Nigeria in the forthcoming Miss Universe 2021 pageant, shared inside plane photos spotting her Miss Nigeria Universe tiara, as well her lovely all green outfit.
Maristella Okpala had shared some photos of herself at the Muhammed Murtala airport in Lagos, with her team, as she held up the Nigerian flag to thank Nigerians and organisers for choosing her for the platform to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe 2021. She said:
“It is a great honour wearing my whole country Nigeria today as I depart for the @missuniverse journey.
It still feels like a dream and I am so happy and speechless at the same time.

I promise to make you all proud,” she said.
Maristella Okpala after emerging as Miss Universe Nigeria during the Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria Pageant, (MBGN) had shared her views and thoughts about her experience at the recent event.
According to the report by Silverbird, the damsel while speaking to an Entertainment Weekly correspondent of the news outlet, revealed that she wants to be the voice of the voiceless children because she believes every child out there has the right to quality education.
The beauty queen also advised every girl out there that they should not be trapped in a space; stressing that can they can get whatever they want.
The flight attendant also stated that the journey was not easy from the onset, after going through various stages and processes.
Okpala who claimed that she was discouraged by people when she started the process, also stated that passion matters.
She also emphasized that she encouraged herself that she needed to be focused regardless of what people said.
