Rapper Soulja Boy will not be performing at the millennium tour, as a safety precaution in the wake of Young Dolph’s murder, tour organisers stated in a statement on Thursday.
According to the organisers, in a statement posted on Thursday 18th November 2021, a day after the shooting and murder of Young Dolph, the millennium tour officials are exercising precautions at this weekend’s tour stops in Memphis and St. Louis.

Houston Tx -(November 18, 2021)- In response to the tragic shooting death of rap artist Young Dolph, The Millennium Tour 2021 Tour promoter, G-Squared Events, has determined that rapper Soulja Boy will not perform during this weekend’s tour stops in St. Louis, Missouri, and Memphis, Tennessee. ⠀

To preserve the safety of The Millennium Tour 2021 artists and patrons, tour representatives are exercising caution and want to make a smart decision to be safe.
“The safety and welfare of our patrons are the first and foremost priority.” said a representative from G-Squared Events.
“We pride ourselves on bringing high-quality concert experiences to our patrons. In times like this, we will stop at nothing to ensure that everyone that participates in these experiences is healthy, safe, and quite frankly having a good time.”

Rapper Young Dolph was shot and killed in his hometown on Wednesday. He was gunned down in Memphis, TN outside a local cookie store.
A video from the crime scene shows his car parked outside the shop while police investigate.
Young Dolph was reported to have gone into the store, and a vehicle pulled up, firing through a front window and striking the rapper.
Young Dolph’s attorney and friend Scott Hall told reporters the rapper was in town for his annual Thanksgiving giveaway, and he has been living in Atlanta most of the time.
Hall says Young Dolph was scheduled to hand out a truckload of turkeys to folks in his old neighbourhood on Wednesday afternoon. His plan was to head to the event right after the cookie store.
