John Legend's Wife Chrissy Pays Tribute To Late Son

John Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen has paid tribute to her late son, as she marks a year since she lost her lost what could have been her third child and second son, due to pregnancy complications.

John Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen took to her official social media handle on Wednesday 29th September 2021, shared an unseen photo of her and her husband in the hospital griefing the loss of their child.

She posted the photo where she was being consoled by her husband, as she opened up about how she is feeling on the first anniversary of losing her son. She said that she experienced “the greatest pain she could ever imagine” over the last year.

“And to the son we almost had. a year ago you gave me the greatest pain I could ever imagine to show me I could survive anything, even if I didn’t want to. i didn’t get to take care of you but you came and went to get me to love myself and take care of myself because our bodies are precious and life is a miracle. they told me it would get easier but yeah, that hasn’t started yet. mom and dad love you forever,” she said.

The photo posted by Chrissy Teigen, was her marking National son day. And after posted a photo of her son marking the day, she decided to also remember her dead son too on a special day.

Chrissy had announced the news in a post on her Instagram account on Oct. 1 last year, adding that they had chosen to name the baby Jack.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” Chrissy wrote alongside a series of photos of the couple in hospital.

“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions,” she said. “It just wasn’t enough.”

“We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital,” she continued. “But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us.”

“Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever,” she added
