Woman re-arraigned on Friday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) before Justice Umaru Fadawu of the Borno State High Maiduguri Zonal for an alleged N12.7million fraud.
According to the statement put out by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday 10th September 2021, titled “Woman Re-arraigned In Maiduguri By EFCC For N12.7m Fraud In Maiduguri” stated that the woman identified as Dookenger Odey Takon was re-arraigned on Friday before Justice Umaru Fadawu of the Borno State High Court, Maiduguri on a four-count amended charge.
Dookenger Odey Takon, the anti-graft agency said was re-arraigned on a fraud case bordering on cheating, forgery, issuance of dud cheque and obtaining by false pretence to the tune of N12, 759,169.00 (Twelve Million, Seven Hundred and Fifty-Nine Thousand, One Hundred and Sixty Nine Naira).
She was re-arraigned alongside her company, X-traordinaire Designs Ltd.
