Popular comedian, actor and talk show host Olateju Oyelakin, aka Teju Babyface and wife Tobi are celebrating their 9th wedding anniversary today being 1st of September 2021.
The comedian who took to his social media handle to make a post about their 9th year wedding anniversary on Wednesday 1st September 2021, jokingly said he forgot that today is their anniversary, as he had to be reminded by his wife about their special day.
His post also came an hour after that of his wife, Tobi. They both posted the same photo on their separate social media handles to mark the day with friends, family and fans.
Teju Babyface taking to his official Instagram page, posted this message saying:
“Wait a minute, I think today is our wedding anniversary. Is it? Well someone once said that, as a man, the trick to remembering your anniversary always is just to forget it once. Your wife will see to it that you never forget again,” he said.
The comedian continued:
“9 years already? Man. Where does the time go? So number 10 is coming up next year and this awesome woman @tobibanjokooyelakin will be expecting some mighty gift now. There you have it: my vision for the next 12 months, procure a mighty 10th anniversary gift!
Thankfully this chic is chill like that and doesn’t ask for much. Still King Solomon adjures that “Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise” (Proverbs 31:31) and so we will, God help me, for concerning you dear wife, “Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised” (Proverbs 31:30). On her part, taking to her social media handle, Tobi posted this message to her husband on their anniversary, saying:
“Sept love you always Tejubabyface”.
Teju Babyface and wife married in 2012 and they are blessed with twins.
